Ok so with the wonderful encouraging responses that I got off some of you with my first try with a fairy inspired by the wonderful Christy (Daizy). Here's my second one with a bit of my own spin on it. I just love fairies. Laughing

Beautiful! Love the colours i this one!
I think once you have the basic shapes down all you need to do is pick slightly different colours for the dress wings and hair and they each become their ow unique creations.
I love the idea of using the split cake.. I really need to try that sometime. Smile

I used the TAG frangapani split cake for this one. I can't stop thinking about fairies & all the different combinations for the dress & flowers.

Out of the mouth of babes... Harsh. I do my experimental painting while my son is asleep. He's a tough critic and already says 'No Mamma' most of the time when I try to sing or dance... He's 2.

Good luck on your fairy painting. I'm sure you'll get it down and then maybe your daughter will even request it!

I like this one too. I need to practise faeries. I have some TAG splits but have ordered a whole lot from Sillyfarm that were different to the TAG.
