So, my little darling 6 yr old is convinced that she's going to be my face painting helper someday (and she may well be, but not yet LOL). Here are her paintings today:

Not really sure what the last thing is, but she did really well with the hearts and the butterfly.
By the way, love the pink hair!

the last one was two hearts overlapping each other, but they are both purple so it's hard to see. The nice thing is that I'm trying to get her to make her hearts with two teardrop shapes and not mash the brush into the paint. It'll take a while of course, she's only 6 but she's very artistic.

Adorable, I think she is doing great! I love seeing other face painters kids paintings, so flattering because they just want to be like you.

This is what my daughter did on me at one of our last jams. She loves going to the jams. She will paint and then be a model for the other artist. It's nice that she still wants to paint even though she seems to have really taken to balloon twisting.

I love having her work with me Perry...so I know it will be great for you when your daughter is old enough to work with you side by side

Wow! That's pretty amazing for 6. I wasn't sure what the last one was either but it made sense once you said it.

Changingfaces, how old was your daughter when she did that? I love the design and wonder if she would be okay about me using it?

My son has really been enjoying painting with me lately. It lets me hang with him, doing something I love too. (not that playing with toy cars is never fun) We get the little pots of acrylic paint out and review- not this doesn't go on the table? no Or on the walls? no, it goes on the picture. He does great, and I have a growing collection of them now. Well I forgot to take the paint away when I left for work. A little while later my husband texted me to say He had painted my daughters face.
Smile
I guess he knew I paint on faces all the time, so that must be okay!

Oh my! I hope that came off of your one year old relatively easily? At least it looks like she enjoyed the experience.... When I was five, I let my three yr old sister cut my hair for some strange reason.... My kindergarten pictures have me with stair steps cut into my bangs LOL

Aww, all s cute. Of course these children are going to have talent in their genes!

Here is a butterfly by my 5 year old. She later went back and filled in the gap between the outline as it was bugging her that it wasn't quite right. It is quite cool when they notice all your little tricks.
