nancy! wrote:Lonnie, maybe it sounds strange, but it isn't a very, very long drive from Denmark to the Netherlands. I think about 700/800 km. depending where you live in Denmark. I heard the European convention will be in The Netherlands next year. (in Almere, on the north side of the country) That means 5 days of painting, workshops etc. Maybe worthwhile for you to think about? Here is the link:

That sounds interesting Smile. But it is still quite expensive seeing as facepainting is primarily a hobby. I do have a birthday coming up though - my first Very Happy.

But I don't quite understand:
EFABEs homepage wrote:Welcome to the 1st edition of EFABE!
EFABE is the only official European event for all of you Face- and Bodypainters out there.

It seems to be the first time they arrange? And why the only official European, isn't there one in Austria every year too?

@Michelle: Small country with relatively a lot of painters I think? Isn't it great?
@Lonnie: I know it still costs a lot of money. Just wanted to let you know, so maybe you could make plans. I don't know about the Austria convention and this one being first. I wasn't into facepainting a year ago.

I wish I could make swirls and curls as smooth and effortlessly as they do - I sure need to keep practicing!!!

I'd like to attend the workshop in Chicago in June, but the organizer doesn't respond to my e-mails. I tried calling them and they told me to send an email. Maybe I'll try again.
