Your favorite bases for bellys?
Hi!
Posted my first belly recently and asked about what's good for bases.
I was told that metallics and pearls were great - and that you should'nt be scared off by Diamond FX
So now I would like to hear your favorite bases!
- brand
- colour
- which do you use most often?
- which colours goes great together as background?
- do you have a "most requested" motive? And what are the colours here?
I want to stock up on my materials for a Baby Fair coming up soon in Denmark. I've just contacted a Pregnancy/Parent Forum called www.min-mave.dk (translated: my-belly.dk) who's going to have a spot at the fair and I'm hoping that they'll allow me to sit by them and paint kids and bellys
Thanks
Helene

Re: Your favorite bases for bellys?
For most body painting work I like Paradise or Wolfe/DFX/TAG. It just depends the look/style I'm going for.
Sorry, I'm sure this isn't that helpful.

Re: Your favorite bases for bellys?
I have been using DFX Metallics a lot recently for belly bases. I just love the shimmer and depth of colour. Usually I blend into a snaz colour.
Snaz is usually my favourite for bases as it blends so well, I just love the depth of colour from DFX better. I manage to blend them by loosly putting on the colours and blending and then with a very damp sponge dabbing over the combined colours.
A lot of my bellys I dont worry too much about perfect blending, I kinda like the washy swirly look.
As for colours I use... DFX Metallic Blue, Purple, Pink, Green and Gold
Here are the bellies I have painted so far...

Re: Your favorite bases for bellys?
I like Kryolan's Interferenze colours especially the Interferenze Silver. It blends nice and has a beautiful shimmer. Snazaroo is also a nice blending product.
