Networking with other artists

I had such a wonderful day today. I met another artist at a guild meeting and we met today for lunch and shopping. It was so wonderful to hang out with someone so talented and inspirational. I have been seeking new ways to expand my knowledge and heighten my skill level. I often get frustrated attending classes only to get distracted by rude people talking or instructors who don't teach with a clear plan. My husband suggested I find a sort of mentor or tutor for private instruction. So I did. I love how open some people are to share what has worked for them. I share too. I usually have more knowledge with balloons and technical stuff. Anyhow I just wanted to share some positive vibes and thank all of you who have shared so openly with others.

GREAT to hear Flopsie!! How fortunate for you! I'd love to meet some ppl in my area too and have fun just being together and learning from one another. I'm thinking of posting on Craigslist and see what happpens.

That is awesome Flopsy! I was so forunate to meet another local artist here in PA, we have been jamming and learning so much! It really is wonderful to have someone who enjoys the same art as you do......It has been great for us....glad you have found the same!
