How'd they do that?--Challenge #3 Empty How'd they do that?--Challenge #3

Post by Metina Fri Feb 25, 2011 8:55 am

I challenge you to recreate the steps by steps, come up with the paints and tools used and submit a final picture of your verson of the picture below.

PM me your step by steps, the paints and tools that you think are correct and post your final picture here. The artist will be the judge of who came the closest.

My thoughts with this challenge is to show how to break down what you see to recreate and would also illustrate how the creative process works with coming up with something new.

The prize will be $15 to the shop and the deadline for this one is March 11th-At least 5 entries MUST be received in order to award the prize, only 1 entry per person.

The artist on this one is Michele Heffner.

Beautiful Annette!

After saying I would try it, I then realized I don't have liquid bling. LOL! So maybe next time.

Wing it & use a metallic in place of the bling. Explain you don't have it in the SBS.
PM Metina & ask if that's ok?

It is fine, but really up to the artist who is judging the competition. You could make your own also with a gel and gold glitter just to get you in the competition.

Unfortunately the 'vintage' skin around my eyes made the 'swirl' in the wings a bit difficult. PERFECT example of when you need a nice young model!! Very Happy
