Website Opinions

Hey guys, I've done some changes to my website and really haven't received much feedback from it so I need some hard core critiques. Be brutal because I really want to get it right. You will notice that I'm not offering parties right now. That can't change because of my current childcare situation. So anything other than that, please let me know. And before you look at my express rates, they are low because they are only done when the person travels to me and I am doing less than 30 minutes of work on them. So basically just a little doodling.

it's easy on the eyes, consistent page to page and the photos are very nice... the page loads quickly (which is not always the case with wix sites)... overall, I'd say it looks really nice.

I think it looks great. I was thinking about doing black as my background as well, and seeing it on yours has helped me decide (yes). It is easy on the eyes, and the pics really pop! Pages loaded easily, like Perry mentioned. Sorry, no critique really IMO.

Hey, so I had to really look to find anything to critique here Whitney. The website looks great! One suggestion would be to add two more pics to the bottom of the main page (right hand picture "bar") so that the pictures come even with the text. Just looks like it needs something there.

Also, I'd consider moving the ladybug design to a different spot in your portfolio line-up. It's cute but not your best work, and it comes up almost at the beginning so it makes a strong impression. Your leaf mask is gorgeous and would better represent your talents.

The title bar on several pages is out of place (too far down on the page) and covered up by the menu/link bar. The "home", "facepainting" and "portfolio" pages look correct but you might want to check the others.

Knitpicking now, but on the contact page I would create a shorter link for the facebook page. Perhaps just have the word "Facebook" or an FB icon, and link it to your page rather than listing the whole link, since it's a bit long.

Well that's all I can think of! It's a lovely website, you've done an awesome job!

Alright, updates have been done. Angie I think I did what you were talking about, but if not let me know. I'm hoping for a picture of acrylic face painting to put on my safety page pretty soon. But everything else is pretty much done. So Angie and anyone else willing to be extremely critical, please do! I have time this week to get it all right and I intend on ending with a very nice finished product with the help of everyone's critiques.
