Changing I'm in love with those Ben Nye,
Thanks a bunch flower flower flower I've always been curious about how these look.
And the Kryolan are so lovely too. I've read on here they have a strong smell, what's your thoughts on this. I have some paradise & love the smell of it. Is Kryolan stronger than Paradise in smell?

I loooooove this thread!
Wow, that tag pear green and the dfx metallix green look the same.

Kim, tag's metallics are called "pearls"

I have the dfx metallix gold and it looks more like yellow.

What a wonderful and informative post!
taking note

Does anyone have a suggestion about silvers?
I'm getting ready to order this weekend.. and silver is on my list of 'wants'.

I've read several other posts... it seems that there's some issues with silver....

I LOVE the greens... I was wondering.. if you put a base of another color down beneath the green, would that help prevent staining?

maggie, you were spot on with the recommendation of the Old Gold (TAG). It's lovely!

I am thinking of buying TAG 'pearl' colors instead of DFX because of cost.. and mostly... the feel... DFX seems somewhat drier than the TAG colors.

I am looking to buy a light blue. I bought a pearl blue last time but it's still WAY too dark. Looking for a good "sky" blue color. Suggestions on that one??

.laugh

I probably was, Mandi!!
I get SOOOOOOOOOO lost in all these posts it's hard for me to keep up with them all!

Thanks for the recommendation!

It's so incredibly nice to be able to ask (and gratefully receive) information from people that have used the products. I've always hated buying a pig in a poke! *g*

I'm going to go to town on the pearls this purchase, then later, neons!!!

Thanks so much!
Maybe I'll soon have enough paints to be able to share my own color swatches with everyone!

Again, great post!

I think it was both of us, I remember saying get the old gold when you showed us your shopping cart full of goodies Smile
I have a tag split cake and I noticed it doesn't stain as much as the other greens.

Alicia, I just ordered the pearl sky blue, I'll let you know as soon as I get it how light it is.
I also ordered and tag yellow.

I have the silver tag and it is okay but it could be better. Almost got the something bullet from paradise but I didn't.

Top is Paradise, light blue. Bottom is Tag, Powder blue. I don't love the color of the Tag to be honest. It's kind of a grey-ish periwinkle. (there is another Tag light blue, but I don't know how that one stacks up)
