CHATBOX.....WEEK 3 SCHEDULE

OK so it's been a while since I have posted a suggested chat schedule. For the newer members there is a chat box on the bottom of the homepage where we can talk in real time. We've made some attempts to use it in the past and would like to try and get it going again. So if you are in the continental US I am proposing these dates and times

Friday 2/4/11 8:30 p.m until
Sat 2/5/11 8:00 p.m. until
Sun 2/6/11 6:00 p.m. to 8:00

hopefully this will work for the west coast members as well

As for our overseas friends perhaps someone in your timezone can set something up for you to be able to participate........... kinda hard to juggle the different time differences.

This is a viable and useful tool and with enough interest could hopefully sustain itself and keep going

TIME ZONE FOR LISTED TIMES IS EST.

For right now we will start off with a weekend schedule, and depending upon the interest we can introduce other sessions during the week to provide more opportunities. As the weather prayerfully gets warmer weekends may become more difficult for some due to gigs so having a weekday/weeknights schedule can/should prove to be effective and conducive.

Suggestions are welcome.....post here or pm me

I actually noticed this box and went in and tried to use it....but was unsure how to get others into the room!! I would love to have a chat in real time!! I thought it was just 'broken' or not activated! I notice you are on right now...does it work that way that I can ask you to meet me there and it would work or do you have to be an admin??

Oh dear, I probably won't be able to make it tonight as I have to run to a couple of stores to get some baking supplies and I am sure that it will take over an hour and a half to do so. I will definitely be up for it tomorrow evening though, just let me know if we still plan on doing it.

Well I got in from my jam later than expected almost midnight, but what to my surprise there were still a few folks chatting. So I was glad to see that. So thanks to Spanky, CC, Mehendi, and Vi for hanging in with me until after 1 a.m.

So I llok forward to trying it again later this evening. It may be off to a slow start but I am sure we can pick up momentum.

I cannot believe I am still up, but true addiction to FPF means that even though you are barely awake you STILL have to check to see if there are messages!! LOL

Thank YOU for joining in the fun! this is SUCH a great way to get to really feel even more of a connection to your fellow painters and it was SOOO FUN!!! We bounced from Biz, to fun, to outright goofy, to personal, and back to biz! Can't wait to do it again! I will be checking whenever possible to see if anyone wanders in at any other times!!

It was so nice to chat with you ladies, although I had a huge headache afterwards. Not sure if it was the format or my eyes LOL I was just telling my husband I know I am getting old when I say how much I love the new house phone, the buttons are nice a big.

My apologies everyone as I forgot to post a schedule of times for the week nor did I send out a reminder.

Please please feel free to go chat if you schedule permits. By no means do you need for me to post a schedule. I was just trying to get the ball rolling hoping it would pick up momentum. I will continue to post times slots if that helps people to remember to come in......I will also try to add some daytime slots for those who find it hard to log on in the evenings.

So for the remainder of the weekend let shoot for this:

Sat. Feb 19th 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
