great news i have 3 gigs in the next 3 weeks

as you all know I am face painting at our Mardis Gras celebration Sunday I will be painting at a superbowl party at the bar restraunt we hang out at..and on Feb 12 I was asked to paint at culvers 10 year aniversary
In march i have a 2 day gig for a car show that my husband is involved in and a week later I have a voluntary thing with coulee parenting magizine..things are looking good for this year..now if I could find a job things would be great..I will take lots of pictures

That's Great BARB!!! What do you mean if only you could find a job? Face painting is a job and sounds like you're working it!!!!

gloria I got laid off my full time job in August.. can't seam to find another...small town no jobs..some times wished I was back home in Dallas Tx..but then i have so much here. and would not trade it for Big D

something will show up... i don't make enough face painting yet to pay my bills..its just a side job.. i broke my foot this past july and I can't do my part time job teaching dance at our local YMCA..still hurts..6 months later..lol
or maybe Im just getting old..lol

Oh no! hope you get better soon and hope you get more and more gigs ... enough to make ends meet.
If it helps any, I got laid off over 5 years ago (although I was hoping and praying to get laid off Hee hee hee) and have taken my business completely full time. It has worked out I love what I do, I get to work from home and raise my daughters...etc. etc. It gets tough at times (like winter months) but then other times its freakin' phenomenal (spring, summer & fall).
Sometimes situations are bitter/sweet! Stay positive, keep loving what you do and all will fall into place gracefully!

Congratulations Barb! you are going to be quite busy. Sorry about your foot and job but like Gloria said, "everything always fall into place" I am a true believer of whatever happens is because it wasn't meant to be.
