WHAT A DAY!! GREAT NEWS!!

I'm sooooo excited!! Today I got an acceptance letter to one of the largest festival here on the coast. They get over a thousand apps and only 350 get in. (For out area, that's big!) They are super strict about getting all the info in and in full. I thought mine would automatically get thrown out cuz I didn't have a pic of my set up(tent), working on painting walls right now. I respectfully requested a little time and I would send it in no later than the end of August. On the application they said they would send out letters in the beginning of Sept. SO emagine my surprise I got it TODAY!! WOW!!!!

Other news, yesterday, I had an amature photographer come over and take pics for me. I had 2 girls, one little and one teen, and 2 boys both around 6yrs. So I was really excited about the variety. I wanted a group pic with their faces close together to put on my business cards. Well didn't get exactly what I was looking for, bummer. BUT, did get some ok shots and some good individual shots. I can still use those for my website. I'm not sure if I'm gonna use any of the group or just try another round of pics with my camera. I'm gonna attach a few to see what ya'll think. Keep in mind they can/will be cropped!

But talk about feeling the pressure! My head is starting to hurt already, lol! This will be my first really public event. I'm hoping to really get my name out there with this one! YAY!!!!!

what a great opportunity! I like the middle picture, with the 3 in a row, if it gets cropped a bit closer. If you find your are not liking how the cards turned out, find another image for the next run. You are bound to be passing them out left right and centre so you will need another run soon anyway

I agree with Metzpah you will be needing a second run soon. Although I prefer the 1st & 3rd pics best. Where are you getting your cards through. Have you heard of vistaprint? You can get business cards really cheap there.
