Are you READY for some FOOTBALL!?!? (warning, pic heavy)

I would like to thank Barbb919 and Geekophile for inspiring the following designs!! I have a tailgate party at a sportsbar on Feb 6th and wanted to get some examples ready so here is what I got so far!! I am VERY open to further suggestions!!!!!

All I know about football is that the guys wear some pretty tight pants and they kick a ball. Thaaaaaat would be about it! OH and if you have a kid that plays it, the equipment is expensive.

What is the mascot? We have the "dogpound" so I did some big pawprints and dog faces for a tailgate party... maybe you can play off the mascot idea. Also, the helmet... just paint the whole face like the helmet and it's an instant hit.

Flaming footballs also very popular, and for girls, just do some fun swirls in the right colors and you're good. Good luck!

Isn't the Packers something about cheese?

green bay packers are called cheese heads..don't ask me..I m from dallas tx..move to wisconsin 11 years ago..husband from here....
wisconin is know for its great cheese.. and its really great..

oh and they don't really have a mascot..everyone just wears green and gold..and a cheese hats looks really funny

I painted at one of the Nebraska Husker football games and here are a few of our photos... Easily changed to support the team. Have fun - I am jealous! I love tailgate parties =).

This was an idea from one of the Wolfe pics, but I've seen a lot of them around so I have no idea who gets the credit =). This was the first time I had ever painted it, so it's been changed a few hundred times!!

hey Kim it looks like I will be painting faces at a bar restraunt we go to on super bowl sunday..its a regular hang out we go to..2 blocks from the house..my husband was there today having a beer....the owner liked the way we were painted last week and said if I wanted to i could paint for the game..good advertising for me..nothing to loose really..good food and good football. what a day.....keep you all posted on the progress and the pictures

I wish I could go to a bar and paint faces for the Superbowl...but I'd get run out of town. It's tough being a Steelers fan in Cleveland...but hey... it beats being a Browns fan period...Amanda.

I'm a Packers fan living in NJ. I understand. I just got my GB glitter tatts in and I've been practicing some small designs. I work on Superbowl Sunday so I can only paint my arm and hide it under my sleeve. Bears fans called Packer fans Cheeseheads as an insult but the fans embraced it and hence all the cheese apparel. Do you know the Packers are owned ny the city of Green Bay? Pretty cool that each citizen shares ownership.

I have been working on some designs too. Here is a football mask and a helmet. I thought adding more detail to the helmet would be a good thing...but I was wrong! I am going to take out some of the face mask on the side and maybe the bottom. I'm open to suggestions.... Go Pack Go! Unless your a Steelers fan....
