Hello! Glad to meet you! :)

So my name is Jessi. I have four kids and am 29. HI! I have always loved arts/crafts, and grew up watching my mom who has dabbled in just about everything crafty. She has been a twister on and off for as long as I can remember,( mostly charity events) and used to "clown" me up as well. Anyways, I kind of fell into FP. I was conned into doing cheek art at a car show in July of 2010.. Long story short I loved it and have been on youtube and the internet studying ever since. I started with Palmers or whatever.. that lasted like two shows! Then to snaz..even though I hate that they melt. I now have snaz and Ben Nye, (only thing readily available here) but am waiting on a shipment of DFX. Holy excited! I am now training my mom as I learn new things and she is teaching me to twist. Together we have done a lot of shows within about a four month span and are rapidly gaining experience! I have never gone to a class, but I really really hope to! If anyone knows of any in the Michigan area, I'd appreciate the info!
I hope to get to know everyone here and I already love the site! (While I was waiting to get confirmation from admins, I was able to still see the forums and have been on them all weekend!! ) I was lucky enough to do my first belly yesterday and cannot wait to get feedback when I recieve the pics! Nervous too!
I gladly take criticism and thoughts on what I need help with! I know there is a ton to learn and am anxious for anything you can throw at me so far!
I am trying to put together a website as well and any recommendations would be helpful and appreciated!
So, I guess that's it! I'm sorry if this post seems overwhelming.. My head is kind of clustered right now and thoughts are coming from every nook! LOL

Welcome! I hear ya! I just discovered the fun of FP a little over 2 months ago and have been just giddy with it since! The forum is addicting and I agree with Maggie! This site *IS* the most fun I've ever had working! I have gotten so much 'training' and info from this site it's not even funny!! Hope you have fun here...the peeps are really the best!!!
