I have been painting two years. I played the cello for seven or eight years and was in a couple of orchestras. The guitar only for 1 summer class. My actual guitar was so awful it was not fun or easy. Poor old thing would never stay tuned! A good instrument is helpful. I like to strum the ones in the music store to hear how they sound - especially the rich sounding resonating ones.....maybe one day I will try again when I am not so consumed with painting and raising my kids.

Re: Hi from Big Lonie
well a guitar is basically a cello on its side.. haha but yea it took me a few months to build up the callouses and to begin learn songs. keep up the good work
