For those of you surrounded by snow

Here's a bit of warmth & sunshine to brighten your days. I went here a couple of days ago. It's called Tasmazia & it's full of mazes, lavender hedges, cubby town & the villiage of LowerCrackPot which is where I took all these pics. It's such a beautiful place & they have the most amazing pancakes as well. My kids love it there especially cubby town which is an area with loads of cubbies of all kinds for the kids to run around & play in there's a hairdressers, dentist, theatre, fire station, teepee & their favorite the spooky house in the pic my two boys & hubby.

What a super neat place! I love things like this Thanks for sharing your warmth. We are absolutely freezing here in Michigan!!

I live in Florida, so I get plenty of sunshine, but that place looks amazing. I so want to build a maze like that here.

And snow... I am beginning to hate it... Paid a roofing company $500 yesterday to clear 5-6 feet of snow off my roof to stop the water that was running into my walls...

looks really cute, but my allergies are going crazy just looking at it! LOL

Shannon, I am so sorry about your walls, our sun room walls are all wet too, the builder made the roof almost flat Argggg!
I am not ashame to say it "I HATE SNOW" and I am not looking forward to the 30 inches we are supposed to get this week we already have about 2 feet on the ground.

OK, I'm stupid...for the life of me I cannot figure out how to post a picture on here! I've tried 3 times and cannot get that box to go away anyway, I have a really cute picture of deer in the snow I wanted to share.....thanks for the picture of the warm weather. It reminded me of "The Wizard of Oz"

The picture of the deer looks like it is from a magazine! SO pretty! I love the little village too. Our snow JUST melted off in the valley but more on its way I have a love hate relationship going on with the snow. I have bookings coming up and am worried about having issues if the weather is bad. They never salt the side roads here....

Terina, our snow hasn't melted yet and it looks like it will be here for a while, specially when we are going to get more tomorrow night We literally ran out of space to put new snow, not sure what we are going to do.

I think we are supposed to be getting that same system through these parts. Bless your heart Maggie! I think I would go stir crazy. I was so glad when the snow started to melt this week. Although the mountain areas a few cities over still have some. I had cabin fever a couple of weeks ago. I was literally stuck at the bottom of our two roads. The subdivision used to be a shallow lake bed, and they developed it into a road. How do you seriously do that? But, you drive up two large hills on either side to get out, so, I get iced in very easily!!! I hate it.


I usually love the snow, but there has just been so much of it!!! And I am pretty much over it.

Wow! that sounds crazy. I don't know how much more I can take, and the kids have missed so much school that they'll spend part of the summer in school. Last week they only went to school twice They are driving me bananas lol. Stay warm and be careful on those icy roads.

I did not take the picture of the deer, a friend of mine who lives in northern Iowa did. There were 4 of them playing around in her back yard and eating the birdseed out of her birdfeeders....she tried to tell them they were not birds, but they didn't listen. Maggie I feel sorry for you!! I've seen on the news all the snow you've been getting. We have about 5 inches here where I live, nothing compared to your neck of the woods though!! Stay safe and warm!! Let's all think SPRING!!!

I saw CT on the today show this morning...so sorry for you guys. Our weather warmed up so even though it has snowed for two days it isn't really doing that much. It has been a very hard winter and I watched that there is anther system coming through next week. I hope it doesn't happen.

Yup! we are supposed to get another storm on Tuesday. Arrrrrg!

Ok, 1st picture, you would say Oh! so pretty!!! I agree it would be prettier if it stayed only on the trees and not on the roof of my house LOL


Take a look at this... See the railing on the left, those are steps all the way down to the driveway, then you can see my and my husband's car parked right next to each other. Not so pretty now right. lol ht?

WOW...that is something. Yes the trees are pretty, the ground is what in the world???? but seriously...how are you getting to the grocery store and stuff? Do you have a stockpile or are you hiking everywhere???

LOL, this is new snow from last night. When I go to the store I make sure I stock up. My husband and I shoveled yesterday morning, Oh! I decided to go out to yesterday morning before it started to snow to get stuff for my dd's party and when I got back I could not drive up the hill, my husband had to walk all the way down with a shovel and clear the way. He ended up driving lol

We will probably go out in a little while to shovel, not sure where we'll put the snow though.

OMGosh Maggie!!! I feel so bad for you. That makes our measley 4 or 5 inches we still have look like nothing, and I'm STILL sick of it!! Take care, stay warm, and most of all be safe!! (a little sun to help melt the snow)

I was just outside shoveling but my husband sent me inside, he does not want me to get hurt LOL I wonder if he is being nice or just trying to tell me I suck at it.
