sharing my latest mask

Wow! It's been forever since I came on here. Xmas took over and I am only just now getting back to the forum and i had a lot of reading to do. lol

I have a Masquerade party in Feb so I am practicing some of my masks. This will be my mask for the evening. What do you think? This was a lot of work as I had to color in each diamond and then glitter each one right after I painted it to be sure the glitter stuck. Unfortunately you can't see the glitter as well in this picture but it was very sparkly!! lol

I have more ideas with adding rhinestones, feathers and lace trim to the masks too. Can't wait!

I love it. I think the glitter came out fine. i was wondering how you got it on there so thick but doing each square individually makes scene. I think a few rhinestones would look goo but I honestly think a feather would be to much. The mask looks incredible, I wouldn't want to take away from it.

what gold did you use? I really like it!

That must have taken forever! The final product is so worth it though-- really awesome. So often masks look very feminine, but I think this one could go either way- and that's a good thing! But what I really want to know has nothing to do with the mask at all-- it's about your lipstick! What a lovely sheer coral color- what brand is it?

Michelle...I will keep that in mind, I definitely don't want to take away from the hard work I put into it. May be just some babies breath in my hair will work and keep it simple.

Bec- It's the Wolfe Metallic Gold. I don't know what I would do without it!

Geekophile-The lipstick is something from Avon. I believe it is called Coral aswell. LOL

Here is another mask I did yesterday...finished it off with some sequin detail for the trim. This one was much easier to do but still very pretty. Picture quality may not be that great as i took it with my phone.

I looked at your picture close up before I even read your post. I was like, WOW!!!! That is very detailed, did she color each one of those individually???? And then read YES you had, it is amazing! I love the gold too. I am ordering some ASAP...I have totally been on the fence with that brand of metalix...

I am going to have to order some of that gold too! Is the silver as good as the gold? I have dfx silver and it is more like gray

Ooo, I love it!! This may sound strange, but it reminds me of Lady Gaga's Pokerface mask. Except hers was all silver. I love your colors even more.

ps. I can never get Wolfe gold that vibrant. I'll have to play with it more.

OMG...I just realized it was my Diamond FX Gold not Wolfe. Not sure how much of a difference there is, sorry gang.
