Yep, I promise I will get it done and it will be super fantastic. After I move into my new apartment I will really get down to more specifics, figuring out a date, and figuring out someone awesome to come and paint with us and teach us a few things. I would say within 3 weeks I should have a date and more info for you guys Smile

thank you so much suzy for stepping up and helping those of us in wisconsin, minnesota, and iowa.. there just doesn't seem to be much going on here.. I did find the mooseburger camp in nothern minnesota.. about 3 hours or so from here.. its north of the cities...but they are a lot of classes they offer..seams to be a good deal but not sure if anyone here has gone to that one.. the face painting portion is done by Marcela Murad.. which would be an amazing in my opinion

Hey, why don't we set one up in Indianapolis? I live in Anderson and work in Indy--I'm sure there would be a response from ppl on craigslist if we put one out. Let me do some checking on a venue, and maybe we could put one together. Howmany ppl would be able to attend one in Indy--Let's say the Saturday b4 labor day? September 1st. I'll get back with you all in a few days, and see what the response is. I'll also put it on fb and another forum. TELL YOUR FRIENDS!

well, it'll have to be when there's a Holiday, or on a Sunday. I work Tues through Saturday, and I definitely want to be a part of this. So, if we get a good amount for this, we'll go with it, but I'd like to get together regularly! Monna--what's up with that profile pic? Is that you or your mom with Elvis? Or just a random pic?

If you're talking about organizing a jam, I'm in, and I think I know at least 4 painters here in Indy who might join in... and I may be able to get us space (My office is downtown and may let us use the conference room, it's nothing flashy, but it'd do). Sundays sound good to me. Maybe afternoon/early evening? Who wants to be in charge?

I'll head it up--I put it on Craigslist, but no response yet--anyone else know where to advertise it? I'll go to the art shops and make a poster to advertise it. What would be a good date? should we wait til like October?
