First PPF event at the end of the month
So after a bit of restaurant gigs and a birthday here and there I am finally ready for this.....I think. So the event is a winter fest at the end of this month. It gets very very snowy here and they have all kinds of games, events, free hot cocoa and a free movie. I am hoping it will be a decent turn out. My question: what do I need? I don't own a canopy but I work closely with the police dept ( i am PT at the city run animal shelter) and they will lend me their second one for the day no problem. i will also be bringing my paint and such of course but I have never done any thing this bug. Some night I will do 25-30 kids at Applebees but thats about it. Please help! My other question is: What do I charge for what? With this area and I was probably gonna do 3,5,and maybe some 7's. I know the super simple designs and small cheek art will be the cheapest but how do you figure out what to charge for what face?

I live in a small area also.. I charge 3 for cheek art 5 for half face and 7 for full faces...no problems yet...people just say how good the work is and I have had no one un happy as of yet .....
Re: First PPF event at the end of the month
so what about the more elaborate eye designs do you charge 3 for those also?

Just curious? Are you face painting outdoors in the snow? Won't your water freeze?
For my booth I have:
a board w/ 15-20 easy quick designs
My fatmax to work from
My directors chair
a chair to sit on when I'm not painting
beverages to drink(hot coco if it's cold)
A cooler w/ healthy snacks that are quick grab items
Money belt & lots of $1's
My cards/advertisement
Notebook for taking future contacts info down
Appointment book
Water bucket & dump bucket
Christmas lights or a lantern if you're painting after dark
anything you can possibly use to keep warm if you're outside in the cold(brrr from this FL girl!)

The canopy has sides and I requested a spot with an electric outlet so I am going to have a space heater running. Thanks there are ALOT of things I wouldnt have thought of on your list.
