First Pregnant Belly Painting!
I finally took the time to do my first pregnant belly painting. I'm already over my due date, so I figured I should try it out on myself before the baby decided to make her appearance. It was pretty challenging, but we have a large mirror in our bathroom, so that helped a lot. Far from perfect, but I'm pleased overall with my first attempt. Can't wait to do more!

Wow!! I can't even paint on my own face!! That is very pretty. I am super excited because a girl at work is expecting and she is going to let me paint her belly when she is near full term.

Re: First Pregnant Belly Painting!
I am amazed that you were able to paint yourself, particularly past your due date! I couldn't even SEE half of my belly when I was in my third trimester! It looks amazing, congratulations!

Wow, I thought I did good painting my daughter's bedroom at 8 1/2 months pregnant! Good for you!

Re: First Pregnant Belly Painting!
You did an excellent job. I painted my own belly while pregnant and I promise it's easier on someone else. If you did that well on yourself, you'll do great when you paint someone else. Congrats on the painting and the new addition.

Thanks for all the compliments! I can't wait to try it on someone else now! The huge mirror in our bathroom definitely helped me to be able to see the bottom half of my belly.

Wonderful job! I can't believe you painted yourself. I had the hardest time painting my necklace on myself... I can't imagine my own belly.
Congrats!

Oh my goodness - I can't even imagine. Great job! Love the colors and blending. And of course best wishes for an easy and quick labor.

Re: First Pregnant Belly Painting!
What a pretty belly painting!
I saw a woman at the restaurant today and I wanted SO much to talk to her about belly painting but I CHICKENED OUT!!
How do you guys handle a 'cold' belly?

Re: First Pregnant Belly Painting!
The bad news is that at least for now, Lori will not be painting on her belly again any time in the near future.
The good news is that she had a baby girl -- and I think mom and baby are doing ok ( I got a quick PM from her regarding the swapshop) - so hopefully she is getting as much rest as possible and will post an update (and hopefully baby pics) soon.
