Found Better Supplies
I've only been painting since June or so and have been reading this board every day. I have learned from my mistakes as well as everyone else's on here.
Today I took a step to upgrade my "for now" supplies. I got a better brush holder and can't wait to try it out. I took the suggestion of you guys and will try the ice cube holder it seems like it will be awesome. I also got myself a very small tackle box with a pull out tray. The bottom part I will use from all my brushes and the top pull out tray I can use for my glitter and detailz and such. I also invested in 3 different cups so I can try to avoid the chocolate milk scenario. Light colors in one, pink/red/purple in the other and black and blue in the other. Hope that will help from changing the water so often. I also invested in an EZ-UP Director's Chair since I began to find myself standing to paint instead of moving the children the way I needed them to move.
Again, thanks for all your suggestions. I have a gig this weekend and hope it will help me feel more confident and organized while painting.

You will be amazed at how those few changes will make your job so much easier and make you feel more confident in what you are doing. Good Luck!!

Re: Found Better Supplies
I had so much fun when I upgraded my setup. Have fun!
I use my 3 cups a little different. I rinse from 1st to 2nd to 3rd(the 3rd should always have clear clean water if I'm rinsing properly). When the 3rd starts to get cloudy I know it's time for a water change. It works well unless my 17 yr old is painting w/ me.... she just dunks away any old way

That's a great idea about the 3 water cups, maybe i'll try that instead. Clean, Cleaner and Cleanest.....lol Thanks for the tip, you guys are awesome.
Re: Found Better Supplies
Okay, did the gig today. It went well. I tried the 3 cups like Psalmbook and never had to change the water for 3 hours. I felt more organized and confident. I can't wait for this weekend, I have a huge festival to do.
