TAG2... YOUR IT

yup, diesel in my brand new unleaded petrol car, that I just had vinylled up for the business. It's my baby, she's only a week old, and now, she's parked up in a bus terminal for the night, after being pushed there Poor thing!!! I'll go rescue her in the morning, see if I can do anything then, and get a mechanic out to her if not! He's such a mardy arse... said it was cheaper for Diesel (disease-el more like) and as his cars a diesel he did it by mistake, first time, and last time he ever drives her!!! I just cried myself home haha, im such a girl


also.. does it have to be on a face... could do one now if I do it on thigh or something, just dont fancy focussing too hard on my face at this time of mornign lol

Event, so sorry about the car(we just put $700+ into hubby's car... there goes all the $ I made the weekend before Halloween & my son's competition fees for Youth American Grand Prix

Sympathy hug eventertainments! I sure hope it is something they can fix inexpensively...that's the kind of thing that just works your last nerve, doesn't it? Here you are trying to keep things together and boom, blindsided with what just is a stupid decision on someone else's part - argggghhh. And from someone you can't in turn sell for spare parts (chuckle). My partner and I share my car - he's got it in Denver right now - but he needs it more than I as I can use moms. I sure hope he's taking care of it ... sigh. He promises he's doing better now that I'm not there to nag him about it...wtfreak? LOL! Men.

If he put diesel in and DROVE it you're hooped. That involves draining the engine and possibly replacement parts if it seized. The company I work for runs a bulk plant and two gas bars - if the staff put the wrong fuel in the company has to pay to fix the customer's vehicles - sometimes $1000's of dollars. I really REALLY hope it isn't that bad for you!!

And is he really so stupid that he thought diesel and gas were interchangeable?????

nope, he put diesel in it... and I drove it

We have generators in our garage, as I hire out bouncy castles, so we have a can full of petrol and a can full of diesel at all times in case of quick last minute hire.

I mentioned I was running low, to 'help me out' as it was late, he put 'petrol' in the car before I left for home Turns out he picked up the diesel can and used that instead, I was halfway home before It chunked out on me

Took it to garage today, being towed and it's going to cost almost £250 to have it flushed, but should be fine by tuesday which is a HUGE relief!

It was just an accident, his cars Diesel, and I think he uses the 'spare' to top up frequently, so it would have been automatic to use the red one instead of the green one.

Either way, it'll be sorted soon

Ah, not stupid then...eh...it actually sounds like a mistake I could make on a bad day! Sounds as if you have worked through the worst of it. Yay! So glad it wasn't worse for you after all was said and done.

it most probably was a genuine accident, but today was the worst day possible to have done it, and to break down at stupid o'clock in the morning, so I only got home at 6am, wasnt the best thing lol. I was sooooooo tired

All's well now though, he just had to give up his day today with his mates from work so he could run me around haha, aww, poor thing! I'm uploading my pictures as we speak, so should be on soon

okies, so here I go... Its not as good as yours, but its something Ive never done before, pushed me outside of my comfort zone, and allowed for creativity too. I did a Curious George design last night on my thigh, sorry for the sight! I wasnt sure whether or not it was only faces though, so tonight I did a Disney inspired one. It won't be being added to the list or any books, but I did it, so thought I'd show you and Tag someone else!

I lOVE Curious George!!! The shading is great :-) And what a great idea for a princess face - using a character on the cheek to represent a princess. Not that I could do them justice. Vampkat - LOL - yep- she's haunted. You better be careful eventertainments or you'll end up a stop on the paranormal tours (giggle).
