(no longer) URGENT.... can I paint
It is a heavy drizzle here at my event. Can I face paint? Or should I switch to glitter tattoos. Kids. Will be out for an hour after.

Are you in the rain? I wouldn't leave my paints in the rain as they're water based. I'd switch to glitter tattoos(but I wouldn't want my glitter getting wet either) or make sure I'm under shelter(a requirement for me). I've painted under a tent in rain & it worked fine.

Sorry 'bout the "drive by" posting. I was under my EZ UP, and the drizzle was changing to light rain, and I was due to open! I had never had this happen before, so I turned to you guys... It was an outdoor church carnival, and the kids would be running from tent to tent for the following hour - so I didn't know whether to paint the kids (would it run everywhere?) or switch to glitter tattoos.
I ended up doing both! I didn't know just how well the paints (DFX/TAG) can actually hold up to a light rain, as long as the kids do not touch their faces. I quickly painted my 5 year old and had her run around in the rain, and she was just fine! It turns out the older pre teens and teen LOVED the glitter tattoos, so my assistant was kept nice and busy. Oh and I had the sweetest little baby that I painted hearts on... never painted a 1 year old before, but she just l looked into my eyes so trustingly and never moved - an angel!
Ended up well. Sorry I didn't make myself more clear in my OP!

I had a similar gig, but painted away. The kids were also on a wayer slid, so it was what it was. The kids & parents loved, so it was a win.
