Creating Contracts

Hi Gang.
I was wondering if anyone would be willing to send me their contract as a base for me to write mine up? I have never written a contract and don't want to miss anything. I would, of course, tweek it to fit my business. I would really appreciate it.

ps... I just booked my first gig and Criss (who i just met through this fabulous forum) is going to join me as they wanted two artists! Woohoo!

I would like to see a sample contract as well, please, if you are willing to share. I will change it some to make it my own, but I really have no idea where to start with writing a contract.

Just remember, if you borrow a contract to build your own, make sure you know & remember the wording you use. The same for info on your site, etc. I always say borrow, but make it your own(just like if you're painting a face).

You're absolutely right. It is nice to have a base but you must make it work for you and your business. And know it inside and out too. Thanks to those who sent me copies of theirs, I really appreciate it!

Edit: I just looked after posting this... she has a model release form there, didn't see a sample contract. BUT... I could plug her book and say I've heard how great the Business Of Facepainting is, and there's one in there.

I love her book. I found it to be very resourceful!!!
