Hi gang!

I have recently become a face painting addict. It seemed to have happened over night! I have been working for my mother doing henna at festivals and parties for about 4 years now and had no idea up till then that I had this hidden talent. I had been thinking about taking up face painting for a while now and so one day (about 4 weeks ago!) I picked up a kit. I have been covered in paint everyday since.

I am working on getting a business license, insurance, and a name. Hopefully I will have a big enough portfolio to start doing parties in Sept. I am so excited!

Hey Med Hat! Glad to meet you. I'm in Lethbridge. Face painting is starting to take some serious flight down on this end of Alberta. I'm in Med Hat frequently, for my kids team sports, we should meet sometime. Have you heard about Bodyssey in Calgary next month?

Hi and Welcome to the Forum!!! It is a slippery slope the fall into full on face painting addiction. First the mini kit and trying a few things, then the painting and printing everything you love. The sketching of ideas of inspirations. Then buying MORE PAINT MORE BRUSHES (sponges, tables, chairs, business cards, tents, posters, banners!!) then of course there is the joining the forum to LEARN as much as possible. Full immersion experience!!! Hold on to your wallet!

I want to see some of your henna! Just made my first batch last weekend. Before that I was buying and shipping premade! I felt like I had achieved a benchmark! Ha!!! Doing henna at parties can really give a fierce hand cramp - I need to move to cone since the bottle is just too much pain for a 3 or 4 hour event. Very Happy
