I got a job today!

No, no, not a face paint job. I LOVE plants and flowers and was at Home Depot for about the third time this week and commented to the nursery girl that I would love her job! "Well, I need help if you are serious!" Apparently a nursery contracts with home depot. The woman was super sweet and I applied. They called me tonight and hired me over the phone.

I can't believe it. I have like 4 jobs and my sister can't find one. How is that!? LOL

You set your own hours, you work only in the spring and fall and here and there if needed. I just forgot to ask if I get a discount. Darn it!

Wish me luck. I start next week!

It was fun, but ended last week. I am kinda relieved. Face painting is really busy and I really want to focus on newsletters and making more splits!

Ah ... the seasonal employee!! Will you be called back next Spring?

I started a new job on Friday - moved into the office at the store (from the bakery where my hours were cut from 40 to 23 per week!) the position is in the Cash Office and is 40+ hours per week - the catch is it is a 1 year term (mat leave).

Face painting is just too much fun(and making split cakes)!
