Deer with butterfly
As inspired by one of my new favorite artists... Yes, it's still Snaz
The first pic I didn't like cuz you could see the whole background of the practice skin.. and of course it's covered in stains! So in the second pic, I had filled in the background with black.. it was hard to take pics! You can tell that the different rooms that I took the pics in had different light bulbs! oh wellz...

Wow, that eye is very good! And the rest also! Very nice
I think painting eyes like that with this, often more dull looking medium (more dull then normal paint) is really a challenge!
BTW, who is the artist that you used as inspiration? It looks like a very cool style.

Wow! So much detail w/ face paint! How long did it take to do the design (w/o the black paint)?

About 15-20 minutes. It might not look like it but I used a lot of colors(white, tan, gray, pink, red, dark blue, brown, light yellow, black) plus it's Snaz, so I had to keep going back over the white to make it more opaque..

Yes - I love it too, Ashley. Who is your new favourite artist that inspired this painting? We're all dying to know.
If you want to cut the background out or make it black like you did here, it would be quicker to do it digitally. I use GIMP, which is a great, free photo-editing program.
