Mini Split Cake Fun

I kind of feel yucky about cutting up some of my cakes. But, I tried to choose colours that I had "almost" duplicates in. Metallic blue in DFX and Wolfe. Kept the Wolfe whole and cut the other.

It is kinda wierd seeing my cakes with big swuares cut out of them. But adventually they will all matte down anyways.

I ;love the size of each compartment. It makes loading the brush really easy. Recognize the last one? hehe

Pretty! Mine look very familiar to certain ones...

Try just black and white. This one is super! And dark blue, light blue and white. Perfect for most anything!

Is it weird that if I see splits I love, I think, "Mmmm!" - obviously won't eat them, but they look SO DELICIOUS!!!

(Also, I use that Craft Mates container, too! That size is perfect. I bought a smaller one that had 14 compartments, but before I even put any paints in there I realised that having all the lids in the middle would drive me effing crazy...gave that one away, haha.)

I need to make a b/w one, and I'm just debating whether to order a Twilight cake, or buy a DFX Met Purple and white to make my own...

Glitterfly, I really like your green/yellow combo. It looks like it would be awesome for snakes, etc.

Maybe the container on the left could be useful? Not too sure I've never even hardly painted hahah LOL!

Yep, that one would be good. It is just more conventient to have a container that has compartments attached. That way they are not all floating around your kit. ;0)
Plus ones that are exactly 1 inch wide are perfect for the 1 inch brush. I just bought a Loew 1 inch brush and LOVE it.

the euro cakes were just marketed before the arty body cakes. But,the folks at diamond had seen my demo cakes and knew they were in the works....hmmmmmmmmm

i make my own to save money... you get a lot more for your buck making your own... Do you only post to promote your products?

That's what I did mine in my old wolfe essentials palette and my old metallix palette. I should have taken a pic of them too.

Great split cake colors everyone! I am such a sucker for split cakes. I haven't found one that I didn't like.
