Dude, I go to ODU full time and face painting has been my full time job for three years.

welcome to the club! I'm a college student with a couple low-paying inconsistent side jobs, but am working towards getting the face painting to be more consistent! I'm also an aspiring theatrical makeup artist so I will be adding special FX to my line of services!

I'd love it if I could do it full time, but in my tiny farm community, there just isn't that big of a market, and our town is literally broke and dying, and since over 3/4 of the people here are (or were given the circumstances) emplyed by the city, there just isn't the $$ to hire a face painter.

Re: I need help with Chocolate
I'm a(broke) college student's wife... We just took the plunge into my face painting being our families extra income(he left his part time job). I was making in 1 hour what it took him 3 hours or more to make. He needs to have a full time focus this last semester & then he'll be an elementary school teacher! So, what do you charge your husband to face paint his entire kindergarten class

Re: I need help with Chocolate
Haha, so I don't know if I've ever mentioned this, but I work at a preschool, and the snack today was chocolate cupcakes with chocolate fudge icing (courtesy of a certain birthday girl)... well, you can imagine what a classful of 4-5 year olds look like after eating those moist ooey gooey cupcakes. As I was helping to wash off faces I thought, OOH! that would be a funny design for a chocolate fest! Just paint the "chocolate" around their mouths in smudges and throw in a couple of crumbs or so. Haha, just an amusing thought I had, though by far not a winning idea, lol.

Re: I need help with Chocolate
I can't paint it, but I had an idea that I will share with you . A cup of hot chocolate, with whipped cream, and some steam / smoke over to make it look hot
