Kryolan reguler and Interferenze colors
I have not really used Kryolan face paints before other them turning it into a leaf cake. I am wondering how do you use them? How are the to sponge on? what do you like or dis like with this brand? How is it to do line work on top of?
Re: Kryolan reguler and Interferenze colors
The ones I have aren't great for linework...but they sure are pretty.

Kryolan is creamier than Snaz. Not the greatest for line work - but if you get the consistency right it is okay, but it doesn't flow like other brands.
Great coverage, great colours. I use lots of it.
Interferenz has to be worked differently - lots more water than you think it needs, and work it into a paste to get a good opaque coverage.
If you are combining regular with Interferenz in a split cake be prepared for the interferenz "stripe" to be sheer - as you won't be picking up enough to get good coverage.
Doing line work on top of Kryolan is the same as linework on top of any other water activated face paint! Works best when the base is dry.

Re: Kryolan reguler and Interferenze colors
Thanks Shannon for your reply! I purchased the interferenze cuz the colors just looked amazing. Unfortunately, they are so hard to work with! I'm gonna try the more water thing and hope for a good turn out. Hate the idea of wasted $$$! Especially sense I'm still a newbie and there is SOOO much I still wanna buy! What is that called a tackle tart, glitter queen, etc, LOL!!
Re: Kryolan reguler and Interferenze colors
I find it works best to add a few drops of water to the cake of interferenz, let it sit a bit to get gooey, then load your sponge with the gooey paint... you can get a really nice coverage with it then!!
I LOVE the interferenz colours.
