Hi from Punky!!
Hello All! I'm Punky, but that's my clown name, my real name is Sandra. I've been Painting for about 9 years... and I'm only 19 years old. But don't let my age fool you, I'm a very expirienced and accomplished face painter. I've competed with the Midwest Clown Association and won many times and I am going to be teaching an advanced face painting class at this year's Midwest Clown Association convention. I heard about this Forum from Perry Noia, who is a good friend of mine, and I hope to meet many more people on here and share and learn more about this beautiful artform for the body.

Re: Hi from Punky!!
Hi Punky! My daughter started painting when I did 5 yrs ago. She was only 12. My other daughter just started balloon twisting & is already putting me to shame. They are both a plus to my business & love the work & pay. Enjoy the forum!

Hi Punky aka Sandra!
Welcome! Perry has been a great forum member and artist here. We love her!
I have respect for people who really perform and entertain while they paint or twist - it seems it would require more physically and emotionally not to mention the additional planning to get in costume and makeup. I get in a "zone" when I paint - I love it - but I don't know if I could be in "character" successfully and do it at the same time.
Shout out to our clown members - our tribe is cool - and you help make it a more colorful one!!

Hi Neighbor!
I just wanted to say Hi. I am new to this whole face painting thing but I love it. When I joined the forum I was shocked to find you. I live in La Porte, too! My husband is the Children's pastor at La Porte Assembly of God. We do V.B.S. and a few other kid outreaches where I am trying to put my new found love to work. Not to mention practicing on the kids at church lol! Anyways, just thought I would let you know that I think you are incredibly talented and it is good to know there are people in my neck of the woods!
