One of my first was actually a mistake. How funny that it has become one of my more requested faces.

Debbi that is pretty! Great , especially for a first shot! And why are the gap-toothed grins always the cutest?

I just got my nerve up to try painting after reading this forum for over a month!...took these pics with my phone, they do not show the colors/blends very well, but, man I loved painting my niece and nephew,they were great sports!!! I need more people to practice on!!

Congrats to everyone who can paint full body animals on the face. It is a tallent I do not have, especially for dinosaurs. I will be practicing today. (The best reason for having four kids).

Cool. I still struggle with the dino... something about the body proportions or something. And I like your snake!

Here are some of my first attempts... Painted the tiger 4 years ago, the lion 3 1/2 years ago, and the butterfly 3 years ago. Things sure have changed!

My first butterfly....I was so happy with it....HAHAHAHA!~



And one of my last butterflies at a fall festival I just did......yeah....better!!!

This was my first tiger, and I did the stupid 'put this on all my promo' things.
It's painfull to look at - all I see is mistakes. It's even still in my gallery/portfolio because I haven't had a chance to get a shot of a better version yet. Live and Learn.

My latest and my favourite, my daughter looks soooo cute. Only wish I was a bit tidier around the edges. Have to try again. My daughters are so over face-painting, I paint them several times a week.

ps Used a generic face paint kit from michaels. 4.99 before the 60% off coupon. About 18 colors in little connected pots.

ok I came across this photo which I had totally forgotten about.... and seeing as I can now post pictures ( yay for me ) I thought it was too cute not to share...... bugger my bad facepaint!
To be fair they were not "face paints" so much, more face paint crayons, and I just drew on her face for her. This was before her 3rd birthday.

Sorry about the rudey nudey........ it gets really really hot here in Oz in our summertime so clothes are optional, and she was still in toilet training. I don't make a habit of posting nude little kid photo's on the net - to many freaks - but I know this is a pretty safe community so I figured this once was ok..... still should of resized it, sorry told you it was old!

Thanks Metina, should of cropped it myself before hand, I only realised after I posted...... so used to seeing a little naked person around the house I hardly notice anymore.

These pictures represent samples from when I first began face painting in May of 2009 through to the end of the summer of 2009. As you can see, I have tried out a few different styles of painting and types of brushes and paints.

You started off really good and just got better! Congrats!!
