Creating own stamps
Hi all
Well here I am with a curly question for you - does anyone know how to create their own stamps for face painting? I've decided to make my own stencils and am having (mixed) success so far (cut out a few but not tested yet) ... but with some of the designs I've found that I want to use (including an Olaf found on a freebie website) would work so much better as a stamp! can anyone suggest materials or methods?

Re: Creating own stamps
here are a couple links, i have not done this myself.
looks like your options would be -
1) rubber stamps coated with face paint to make the design outline, then fill in spaces with face paint colors,

here's a do it yourself kit of olaf -

2) foam face paint stamps to make a solid design, you could paint different colors on the stamp before applying it to the skin.

the foam ones are layered, you could probably cut your own out of craft foam sheets, and glue the layers together.

Re: Creating own stamps
here's an interesting foam stamp called "magic stamp" that is supposed to be moldable and reusable, anyone tried it?
