One person set-up

I've only been face painting for a few months. I now have a canopy, 4 foot table, 2 chairs, display board, not to mention all my supplies. How do you get all items from the car to your designated spot (specifically if you're a one person business)? I will be face painting at a farmers market and it will be quite a walk. Do you use a hand truck? Or just make several trips which will be exhausting?

maybe get a wagon to put them in and wheel them that way?

A collapsible wagon is on my list, I hate even making multiple trips to my car...

Pull into your spot... unload... park... return and assemble.

What Kal said. It is in my contract that I have access to the location in order to unload, and parking MUST be provided. My outdoor events usually let me park right next to the shelter (which the customer provides BTW) which works as my vehicle is wrapped so works as a billboard.

I like hand carts in general, but I like that this has a lip to bungee cord things down with the versatility that I don't get if I were to get a wagon.

Usually at markets you can drive up and unload. That's why you have to be there early so vehicles are safely out of the way before customers arrive. My next door stall holder watches out for my gear while I move my car and I do the same for her.same for pack up.

we park close, unload, the we re-park elsewhere usually, but I usually have Aryn for backup. But investing in a hand truck, dolly, or a folding wagon is best if you don't want to leave your stuff alone.

Thank you all for commenting. I was over-thinking it. Yup, I was able to pull the car up and unload and kept my important supplies with me at all time. This weekend I worked my 4th gig (farmers market) and worked next to the balloonist and we were able to tag team. We watched each others station when we needed water break/bathroom break. It made the day so much nicer. It's tricky to work these events as a one person business.
