Petal Brushes Empty Petal Brushes

It would appear that everyone in the world is out of Silly Farm petal brushes. I can't even find them at all on the SF website. Tell me they're not being discontinued ... pls tell me it's not true ... I think I've lost mine Sad

I don't think that is the brush she is talking about, and not I don't think they discontinue it, if you get the flora get #2 #6 is too big.
Another brush you can look in to it you can find it at Target.

Petal Brushes Empty Re: Petal Brushes

Thanks to everyone for helpful replies. I will look for the Sonia. I have the one on amazon (La Corneille), but it's a flat brush, and I have not had very much luck with those. I ended up calling Silly Farm, and they actually have discontinued their 2 petal brushes, the smaller of which was beloved by so many face painters. That's the bad news. The good news is they have a new line of paintbrushes, introduced this week, called Paint Pal, which includes 2 petal brushes, which they feel are better than the old ones. I also just got the Snazaroo "Multi-Purpose" brush, which is actually a petal brush. Below is a link to a photo of my collection of petal brushes, in order from the top:

1) large old Silly Farm, made good petals, but was rather enormous;

2) small old Silly Farm, made great fat petals, but the point tended to split,

3) Snazaroo "Multi-Purpose," makes great petals but a bit large,

4) large new Silly Farm "petal" brush, makes great petals but a bit large,

5) Grimas MR6 (used by Ashlea Henson and not available in USA), makes beautiful petals, one of my 2 favorites,

6) small new Silly Farm "teardrop" brush, my other favorite, also makes beautiful petals, just about identical to 5) above, and

7) Global No. 2 Round, makes nice petals, but tiny.

Cameleon also makes a petal brush, which I do not have.

Hope some of this is helpful!
