Staying power Empty Staying power

Post by mrskelly Tue Jul 07, 2015 7:38 am

hi guys,

just started doing glitter tattoos the last few weeks and I am having issues with the staying power of them. They look perfect, stencil comes off well, glitter sticks and then by day 2 the glitter is nearly all gone? i know the glue is still there because it leaves a perfectly stenciled glue mark.... I'm using TAG's prosaide and I have used prosaide before for special FX and I'm not convinced they are the same. Any ideas? Question

Are you priming the skin with an isopropyl wipe before, to remove any oils and to help remove some of the sunblock?
I love Moonlight Glue over any other kind of glue. I have used Prosaid. I like it.
I know that if the glue gets frozen, or is old, it can lose it's stickiness. I doubt that you are struggling with cold in Australia.

Happy Glittering!

Yes to the isopropyl, I already kept it in my kit before I started glitter tattoos lol. Actually it's currently about 2•c where I live at the moment so it is very cold, it is winter here down in the state of Victoria. I also happen to live in one of the coldest parts of the country. We got snow on occasion, so I would say my glue could be cold damaged.
