Staying power for prom faces Empty Staying power for prom faces

i have been hired to paint a group of girls for a local high school prom. It is a masquerade theme(yeah!) so I have no doubt that it's going to be so fun! My concern is it lasting. I mean, I paint myself and sweat like crazy at gigs in July. As long as I don't touch it, I'm usually ok. I am just having nightmares of these girl swiping their faces after dancing and making a huge mess.

So my plan is to avoid the hairline. And that's all I got! lol!

Anyone else have ideas? Also, please share any formal looks you may have done!

You could make use of shimmer powders instead of paint. Those hold up better in sweaty conditions. Keep black confined to dramatic details around the eyes, since most girls are accustomed to not messing with that area if they are makeup wearers.

Certainly a possibility. I've painted one of the girls at a hockey game, so that's the look she was hoping for. But I think you're right, keep it close to the eyes. Then it won't interfere with eating dinner either.

Use the shimmer powders, Ben Nye Lumieres or Starblends... for line work, try a waterproof felt tip eyeliner. Very Happy
