OK, I have to say that most of our suppliers absolutely spoil us with sales, faster than lightening, shipping, etc. etc. for what are often minimal orders.

I have sunk thousands of dollars into my Zero G2, which I LOVE--but when it comes time for support attention EBA sucks bigtime.

I ordered some tiny seals (at a minimal cost--like $2 and the FEDEXed them to me. When I pointed it out, the fee was refunded...I thought it was a momentary lapse.

Since January I have been trying to replace some lids...emailed, contacted via Suspect web-site & called. No response--even after Alden promised to look into it.

I found a place online called "Specialty Bottle", spent $12 (Total with shipping) and got them within a week. Saved 85%. PM me if you need the info. Suspect

Anniel:
When I want to buy new seals for my Iwata... I go to our local plumbing section of Home Depot or Canadian Tire, and buy 10 seals for less than a dollar. Are the seals on the Zero G2 the same as for the Iwata?

I don't know--by the pricing quite probably. I tried Home Depot and Lowe's ---but neither had them. Someone suggested auto parts stores. Fortunately I am good for the year...

(Sure wish Metina was the go-to on this!)

Fesspainter is right airbrushes can use Orings that come from any basic hardware store. The big stores like Home Depot etc are not the place to look for these Orings. You need to find a smaller more specialty hardware store. My Ace has a hundred plus Orings but I live in a semi-rural town of 3000 filled with farmers and they have lots of rings. Of course too none of the Orings I have found really fit as well as the Iwatas, most are too fat. Too all the new Orings Iwata is using are silicone rings which will last through solvents.

Most Iwata parts will fit EBA brushes. Iwata does not allow many distributors and parts are not cheap. An Oring is about $10 but I have brushes with Orings that are 10 yrs old and just fine.

As for customer service you should contact an EBA distributor to do your bidding. As they spend a lot at EBA they have better pull and can apply more pressure.

Yeah, I would just think after investing more than 3k with the guys there, they'd be a little more conscientious...

Yep! I think the big manufacturers should just sell to their retailers and not compete with them, like in the good old days....but a buck is a buck!
