TAG! You're It!!! Jan-Feb 2015

I'll be working on mine today.

Tried my best at a nebula and then threw a mountain silhouette down at the bottom to clean up the edge a wee bit. FUN tag, thanks!

This is the premise of "Tag, You're It": The person before you on the list sends you a PM telling you what they want you to paint ...and you have two days to come up with it and post it.

We have two teams.
~When you are done with your painting, tag the next person on your team
~IF you want to play, just add your name to the bottom of one of the teams list (you don't have to ask to join) then repost the list with your name added.
~When you are tagged, you have 2 days to complete your design...if we don't hear from you, it goes to the next person on the list. (Your turn is forfeited and if you want to try again, you need to put your name on the bottom of one of the lists)
~When you complete your tag, remove your name from the list, PM the next person on the list with their assignment; you should also put the info in the thread so others know who's been tagged and what they are to paint.)

Please post your name as it appears under your avatar...if you shorten it, especially if you are new, by the time we get to your name we may not be able to find you on the memberlist if it is not EXACT!

fun stars with the nebula background, nice mix of bright white stars, and i see a pink heart shape in there

the farm design is so colorful and lively! very nice flowers, fun chicken, and the horse has that cute little muzzle, which works better than too realistic

Fox Family:  Well Mumma and baby!

Sorry for my poor understanding, but is 'painting' something only on paper or could it be my favorite face painting too?

wow. Sorry for not getting my challenge done in time. Some things came up and I was away from my computer all weekend. Getting a challenge on a Wednesday night (two designs in one day that is) is very hard. To be honest, the two day time frame is a little rough for me and others, as I have seen people take longer than I did to complete theirs. I was actually logging on to pass mine along but I see I was beaten to it. Sorry about that. I am going to take a break for a little bit but may rejoin in a few weeks. Everyone have fun and all your designs look great.

Yeah. I kinda play 'time keeper' some times to help keep the ball rolling. Last summer (before a sudden death in my family which made me opt out for a bit) I was kinda known for being the Ref.

I Totally agree that the time limit is too short, but only because there is some times a 24hr time difference with people on the forum. I remember getting my tags and the post would say I was tagged on like the 10th but where I am (west coast Canada) it's still only the 9th! lol Also getting tagged on a weekend SUCKS.


PROPOSITION!!!

How about we TAG people using tomorrow's date.
ie: what ever tomorrow's date is to us, (where ever we might be in the world).

Reasons:
~ Right now typing this where I am it's 9:00pm. If I tag some one right now, for Feb 22nd, well then they only have 3hrs left for this day which gives them only 27hrs total to complete the Tag (including sleep time). And that's only if they are in the same time zone as myself! If I tagged some one in Europe right now then it gets more complicated, and so on.

~ As I said some times when a person from Europe tags some one in North America, that person usually loses the better part of a day because to them they have been tagged 'in the future'.  Also there is sleeping time.

~ Being tagged on the weekend SUCKS if you have less then 2 days, and you have a booking or something.

So by writing down the tag 'start time' as tomorrow's day, I believe this would help some of these time issues by providing more of a flexible cushion. Also it's not really giving people 3 days, but more evening it out to something more like 2 days, + a few hours give or take.

I've thought about other possible solutions, using links to time zone maps and stuff, but not everyone has their location posted under their avatar (*looks at jlirie* lol). 

So I think this would be the simplest solution.

What does everyone think?

Dear Forest-Fairy, we are not that taxative on time. I have seen ,so far ,that whenever extra time was asked usually everybody is kind enough to wait a little longer.
In my opinion is good to keep things simple! This is just for us to get inspired and push over our own limitation. We are all busy, and if the game slow down a little to give a chance to anybody that really is interested, i don't see where is the problem in there.
This is only my opinion.

Alexandra, if i was given that tag i would paint anything that i love.

i usually do mine at night, so tagging with the next day's date would be reasonable. weekends are actually better for me, more time over those 2 days than after work on a weekday.

i am somewhere in the northern hemisphere of the us, lol, prefer to be very private. only my "practice arm" gets to go out on social media, or my adopted practice head "irene".
