Wolfe FX White and Black

Everyone seems to be out of stock of it, where do you get yours? I'm running low on mine..and I really want to get it..or should I just get DFX? I heard they are basically the same just that DFX is a bit cheaper?. Thanks!

I have been using DFX for a while now, and I really like it. I don't see any difference between it and Wolfe, other than the frenzy created when it runs out of stock. I have never had an issue with finding the DFX, so that is my choice from here on.

I use Diamond FX and TAG. They are both fantastic!

My new fave for line work is the Cameleon Black Velvet. It is a great option, though I don't think it is available in 90g size.

I heard Cameleon has great metallic colors..I'm not there yet! OMG I need to make some money before I can buy anymore colors!!!!

why exactly are wolfe white and black unavailable frequently? you'd think they would adjust production to meet demand.

Shannon explained this somewhere....it's annual. II think I remember it being because one of the main ingredients is use in the production of something else.)Just stock up in the winter or spring to ride it out through the lean times.

My personal opinion is that all of the China wax paints are very similar, but vary from batch to batch: Wolfe, Fazmataz, Tag, DFX, Cameleon, Party Explosion, and some others all come from the same place. If you like one, you are probably going to like the others.

There are “grades” to the quality. But, that part of it all is a bit fuzzy. For instance, the people at Wolfe swear up and down there has been no change in years as to how the paint is made. But, I found that an older version of exactly the same brand and color just feels different than its newer version.

As a side note, Wolfe and Fazmataz buy their paint from that same China factory, then base their operations out of the USA. So, you would - sort of - be supporting a USA company. Tag, DFX and Cameleon buy it from that same factory, but the paint ships to their home countries, then to the USA.

Wolfe has a very large market out side the face painting community. Wolfe is the go to makeup for some top theme parks and the Haunt Industry overall. Right now the Haunters are gearing up and stock is low.
