Typical Saturday Morning
Just wondering if anyone else starts their day by giving into their kids wanting to face paint everything!
They have so much fun!

Re: Typical Saturday Morning
No, but I wish.... This is what I get when I want to try to paint....
This time I was merely tolerated, but I didn't get to finish the design, because the phone rang, and when she came back, the linework was all smudged.
Sigh... my little girl is growin up. I'll just have to do it on myself like I always do. But your kids will be world known by the time they are 18, like that one girl I read about. Very cool.

Re: Typical Saturday Morning
Mine don't like me getting the paints out anymore. It takes a great deal of bribery now...

Re: Typical Saturday Morning
My brother is soon 16 and he still thinks it's fun. The same with the sisters at 12 and 14. I'm very lucky =)
Re: Typical Saturday Morning
Yeah, lucky! In 3 years I've only been able to paint my son once. He's about to be 14.
Re: Typical Saturday Morning
My 7 year old finally got her own paints at Christmas, because she's been an avid painter of her father for at least a year now. He's a great sport. She doesn't let me paint her that often anymore. Her 4 year old sister isn't too keen either. Unless it's a playdate and her friends want to be painted, then sometimes I can talk her into it, but it has to be 'quick'.

Six foot NINE?! I went on a date last week with someone who was (is still, I guess, haha) 6'6" - and I thought THAT was tall!
Re: Typical Saturday Morning
It's all relative Kristal...6' 9" is tall to most people. To me it's just right! I'm finally 'petite in my own home'...I'm 5' 10" blonde norwegian that likes really high heels hee hee. My 7 year old is now 4' 10"...she'll surpass me probably by 10 years old.
Re: Typical Saturday Morning
Haha good point - I'm 5'3" My best friend (who is 6') went out with someone who was 6'7" once, and she didn't like that he was THAT much taller than her
Re: your daughter - she's not much shorter than me! When I was a lifeguard I taught a 4 year old who was up to my shoulders...oy vey
