So I finally got around to making my website, although there's not much to show since I've only been face painting for a couple years and don't have many of my photos. A lot of them were on another computer that crashed and I stupidly didn't back them up (although I'm sure I have some more somewhere, I just have to keep looking). Although I don't have awards or anything like some of you lovely people here haha

Some advice and honest critique on my site would be greatly appreciated Smile

Under about me it says: I love painting kids and seeing and I've also ventured into

looks like you left out some words.

I only use FDA approved non-toxic, non-allergenic, water-based face paints, including TAG, Diamond FX, and Mehron. My sponges and brushes are thoroughly cleaned after every event, and only clean water is used for water activation.

I don’t think I’d use non-allergenic (for liability reasons), it should say hypoallergenic (with a comma after). I think in the last sentence where it says water activation, the word water is a bit redundant.

As a face painter and sister, I care about you and your children's safety. Because of that, I will NOT paint skin with: skin rashes, sores, wounds, or bloody pimples. I will also not paint on faces with runny noses, burns of any kind, or any symptoms of contagious diseases.

I think I might use the term severe acne or just acne instead of bloody pimples.

If that picture you have in the gallery of the half sugar skull is you, I think you should crop it so it only shows your face and include it in the About Me section.

Also - I understand some people not wanting to put any rates at all on their website but as a customer when I don’t see rates, I just move on. No rates listed in MY mind means unaffordable. That is just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt. I think your website looks fine.

And I love that sign that says: If all else fails, just add glitter. Where did you get that?

Thank you! I can't believe I was so tired I made THAT many mistakes! Haha

The sign is actually a notebook I got from Claire's, which I use as my hard-copy stage makeup portfolio (material list and schematics included). Although I find the quote adorable and will probably put it on a shirt.
