Base Stand for Guitar/Gun Case
Hi everyone,
I came across this in a local DIY store and I thought it might be really good if it was attached to the base of a Guitar or Gun Case.
What do ye think?

Re: Base Stand for Guitar/Gun Case
At $120AU, I want it to make coffee and call unicorns to come forth and create glitter for me.
You have to assemble it when you arrive, and it looks heavy.
Keyboard stands are much lighter.
I do not want to harsh your mellow.. if it makes you happy, then buy it!
Kudos to you for thinking outside the box!

I copied the wrong link.
This was the one I meant to post.
It's only $70.
I could never find a keyboard stand with wheels.

Re: Base Stand for Guitar/Gun Case
This is what I use as a base table: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00192JGDU/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Very lightweight, but very stable and durable. Put a bit of shelf liner on the top table and put my kit on it, so it doesn't slip or slide, and have the two bottom tables to hold water, glitter tools, lunch, flowers from adoring fans, impulse buys from craft booths and piles of 1's and 5s (does anyone else get "the look" when they pay all in 1s at a store? My hubby says it's because they think I am a stripper )
But back to the table... got it on discount since it was "used" (had a knick in one leg on a return, saved me $25, love Amazon for this program).

That table is great Tanya.
Unfortunately we don't have Amazon in Australia.
So we miss out on a lot of cool stuff like that and the tall ice tray for the brushes also...

Re: Base Stand for Guitar/Gun Case
I've seen some gorgeous gun/guitar cases made up... but always wondered about how the keyboard stand is attached to the case... you'd have to attach it wouldn't you, otherwise it would easily slide off? I don't know if I'd ever manage to do a gun case myself, but I adore looking at them!!!
Re: Base Stand for Guitar/Gun Case
I just put a piece of shelf liner down between the case and my table, keeps it from sliding
Re: Base Stand for Guitar/Gun Case
Ah okay! Actually, there is a type of rubber matting sold in the kitchen area of my local store.. that would probably work as well wouldn't it! Great idea!!
My hubby was just in here when I was looking at a pedal board case on ebay... needless to say, he wasn't impressed... says it would be a waste of money as I already have my trolley which I pile everything into... but oh how wonderful it would be to just open a case and it's all there ready to be used!!! sigh.... Back to dreaming....

Re: Base Stand for Guitar/Gun Case
Shelf liner, yep that's the stuff. Comes in a roll (you can even find it at most Dollar Stores). I had the trolley piled high with tables, chairs, banners, stands, cases, crates, boxes, bags. Hubby took a look at me pushing TWO carts of crap into a mall to set up a booth over Christmas - by myself - and gave me the green light to streamline.
Re: Base Stand for Guitar/Gun Case
Yes, it folds flat and stows in a handled carry bag. You just pop off the top base and the grid bottom shelf, then pull the two side rails together and it's done. Less than a minute from bag to setup/setup to bag. Sturdy, but lightweight to carry as well. Love it!!
