Anyone else have cut their sponges like Chriistina Davidson? Is it working for you? I tried to google but only found the sponges on her shop and it's hard to see because pic is small. Thanks and sorry for hijacking this thread.

Maggie and Lizzie...they are "always wicked" brand of sponges....I will take pics today to better see how they are cut. It made all the difference to me in sponging as a newbie and getting the lines right. The inside corner of the eye looks great using a cut sponge....

Just spent another half hour with USPS, at least they are going to try to track it down for me. Not hopeful. Time to implement a plan B.

I buy my sponges in bulk off eBay. They are just round sponges I cut in half, but the outside edge is already rounded, so I don't have to trim them to make them rounded.
And I use the round part of the sponge to lay down color, just like Christina shows in her faba class. I find it easier to control where I put the color.

and yes, i cut the corners off half of my sponges-sometimes i like a flat sharp edge

I took a photo of it - the box is adorable and thank you for the nice collection of gifts.  Unfortunately the scratch ticket was a dud.


The Ben Nye Lumiere powder is lush... did you read the label? Warning: Use in a well ventilated area, do not inhale, do not get in eyes or mouth.... Right. I've been wearing it all weekend. This isn't going to be wasted on children!!

We just have awful postal service.

I am hoping the snow doesn't put mine behind anymore than it already is. I will have to send my packages out priority. However mine was suppose to be 2 day, so that may not even matter.

Dear Secret Santa, I sent your gift yesterday, I really wanted to put more things on it, but they haven't arrive from my cyber monday shopping and I can't track them, so I was sorry I would be too late, hope you like what I sent you with lots of love.

To the poor unfortunate soul who is to be the recipient of my package:  

I know you don't know who you are but I just wanted to tell you that I promise to get that sucker mailed sometime in the next few days.  Does anyone expect any less from the world's worst procrastinator?  (Wait, maybe I'm actually the world's BEST procrastinator....!)  

mine and lady jynx packages went out today! does not have everything we wanted but we did not feel right delaying it any longer then it already has been.
