My name is Tara. I am a newbie who got volunteered into doing face painting for a charity event for Imagination Library in Delta Junction, Alaska last year. It was a great time for the kids and for me seeing the kids get so excited! The interest has never left me since then. I've moved back to the continental US and am looking to practice enough to eventually start a small side business. I have a long way to go and a lot to learn!

Welcome to the forum Tara!
A lot of us newbies post pictures over in the "New to Face Painting" section to start with, then branch out from there. There is a "Show and Tell” #1, 2, 3 and now “Show and Tell August – Sept 2013”...love to have you!   Very Happy (and most everyone is shy to start with, but don't worry, it is VERY supportive!!)

PS You might want to put South Dakota under your name in the bio section (to the top left where you wrote "Savvy" ...just go to "Profile" and you will see where to add it there.)
