Well my work study at my uni will be coming to an end of Friday and won't pick back up til August. Therefore it's time to start buckling down on marketing!!

If there is a post like this please send me to it..

Besides Facebook where do you all advertise yourselves?! I'm looking to get started doing all things advertising immediately!

Katurah, have you thought about booking yourself into a PPF event locally? It may be a bit late but call around. Also, there is probably an "events" listing site near you, where all the promoters list their events and contact info to apply. You may need a pop-up tent, but no reason to not start simply with the table and chair set-up. Vistaprint can be used to have an inexpensive banner made (wait for the deals). A live appearance at a fair, complete with business cards, is a great way to advertise. You can often get some party bookings from it.

Free online classifieds like Kijiji are very successful for me. Otherwise I don't advertise (i.e. PAY for advertising) I do a postcard mailout a couple times a year but you are looking at a short turnaround and that is more long term.
