I just got my first wedding job!!!

I am so excited that I got my first job face painting at a wedding. I was wondering for all of you that have done weddings what kind of designs did you do? I have ideas for the girls but not really for the boys. the bride wants me to try to stick with her colors (white black pink and silver) with accents in other colors . . . . I don't want scary for the boys but I am just lost

Sounds like black and silver for the boys if you must stick with the color themes.

tribals (endless options here - a few simple patterns, lizard, scorpion)
lightning bolts (can use the silver and black nicely)
cyborg eye

Puppys, kitties, tigers, leopards are great for starters and all kind of webhead designs. just think of your favorite design using wedding colors ; )

Good luck! I do hope the bride allows you to use other colors but I guess she probably wants everyone to match for pictures?

If she only wants you to use those colours... Only TAKE those colours with you. A variety of shades and matching glitter.

That is the easiest way to do specific colour requests!

It actually is a lot of fun. I do it on Canada Day - I only take Red, White, Black and white and gold glitter. I put out the regular display and they can have anything they want BUT only in those colours!

With white, black, pink and silver you actually have a lot of options - cows, robots, dragons, dogs, cats, millions of butterflies, tribals, skulls, florals... pink tigers, black spider-guys... really ANYTHING...

Maybe you can talk to the bride about the colors. Maybe the wedding party sticks to theme, and would get to go first? But, maybe others could match their outfitss. I've not done one, but I've seen beautiful pics from formal parties of swirly or tribal designs on backs and necks, not just faces.

I haven't face painted at a wedding, by maybe bring along a barber's smock to cover them with during painting?

I agree with a previous poster. Do your regular designs, just do them in the wedding colors. That should actually simplify things I'd think.
