Finally painted my own belly!
I did it! I've finally attempted my first belly paint and I did it on myself! I'm 24 weeks pregnant now so thought it was time I gave it a go!
It was a bit tricky, using the mirror and trying to paint upside down and this took about 45 minutes.
Overall I'm happy with my first go, although I can see plenty to do better next time, The flower and butterflies are wonky and I smudged some of the side bits when I was tying to reach underneath but that's what practise is for, right?!
All done using TAG pearl colours.

I'm so impressed you did that on yourself, dartiegirl! You rock!
Beautiful baby belly, by the way.

Re: Finally painted my own belly!
It can be sooo hard to paint yourself when you can't see what you are doing and are dependant on a mirror. And then you have to hold your brush awkwardly to reach everywhere. I think you did really well for it being your first one and painted on yourself at that.

Very nice and cheerful and sweet! Love the design too.
How long did it take? How long do you think a mom to be would want to sit and be painted? Would they not be really uncomfortable after 30-45 minutes? I am sure a two hour paint session would produce a Rembrant but dont the mom's get tired or achey back- not to mention needed a pea break.
