Water resistant paint... anyone?
I paint one of my friends that let me practice my body painting and so far he was very happy with the design, however I paint him during the night so I ended painting at 10:00pm and he was so disappointing that he could not keep the design at least until next day.
Anyway one day in youtube I saw this video of models with body painting designs, going underwater, came out of the water and the paint was intact.
The only thing that I remember is they were using Kryolan.
Don't ask me why I did not save the video
Yup... for that reason that you are thinking hahahaha
Does anybody here knows about that product, have you use it?

If you use the Supracolour (the oil based Kryolan) and set it with powder it will hold up in the water.
Or it could have been BIC which is the alcohol activated inks.

Greasepaint is water resistant when set properly with powder. Kryolan's full makeup range is enormous. I'd imagine they'd have a greasepaint rainge.
Such a nightmare to remove a whole body worth though. Bleh.
I've set my ordinary Kryolan with setting powder and then sprayed over it with the Kryolan sealer spray and gone swimming and had it just fade a bit. I had to remember not to towel off though, just to air dry.
I've had people sleep in their body paint and had it survive with just a little smudging. Depends on how oily/sweaty the person is though. Also on how much of a shuffler they are when sleeping!

If I use Kryolan's fixier spray before I paint and after I paint, it stays nearly waterproof.
I also like Ben Nye's final seal as a base before and after I paint. I apply it with an airbrush before bodypainting people who are going out to parties or dancing. It works pretty well and is cheaper than the fixier. Hairspray works in a pinch.
As a note, this is only adults I'm applying these products to, not kids at PPF events or parties.
I also like the alcohol activated Skin Illustrator palettes, like the BIC one Shannon mentioned. Though, I find they're not as easy to work with as the water-based and I use them mostly in fake tattoos or SFx applications.

Ditto. I wouldn't put sealer on a child, it's alcohol based and stings a bit.
I hear final seal is good. I tried liquiset and i wouldn't recommend it at all

Kryolan makes everything and what the few things they do not they private label. As noted Supracolor is the greasepaint. But I image the model a was in the highly water-resistant airbrush makeup - Aqua Proof.
And Kryolan does make the Fixing/Fixier Spray for the body, but too they make one for the face called Ultra Setting Spray.

Airbrush: Graftobian and Wolfe E flow are water/sweat RESISTANT but will come off with Soap and water.
Temptu Dura and EBA Endura are water proof and will require alcohol to remove.

Re: Water resistant paint... anyone?
BTW ever wish you had an alcohol pallet in a given color but couldn;t get it? Take a small bottle of temptu dura in the color of choice...
and put it in a food safe silicone cupcake baking tray.
Place this in a dehydrator, near a dehumidifier or the air return for your AC. Depending on which you go with.... in as little as a day you will have a dry pallet that will reactivate with a few drops of 99% alcohol.
