I'm ready! It has been 3 days already, life probably caught up to her as it tends to do....I think that Valeries rules were 2 days?

And what about team B and C? It seems stuck there too! Any word from Angi and jenny?

I was tagged with a musical design, but I wanted to do something different from pastels with music notes. Chinese opera has a long tradition of painted faces, which the actors do themselves, mostly using their fingers. Each color and design element has a specific meaning.



Dou Er-Dun (Chinese Opera)

This is a character called Dou Er-Dun. He's a kind of Robin Hood figure who appears in several operas.

Very cool Jenny that was creative! What colors did you use here? It actually looks like a mask...

I love this--I have a degree in theater and my teacher LOVED Chinese opera---nicely done!

Erica, it's all Wolfe, primaries and black and white. For some reason lately, I've been having trouble with Paradise paints, I can't get a good line or even coverage. So I got out the old standby.

And... I tag SmileLines with alien sunset.

And thank you, Amy! I worry sometimes that I get too far afield with my stuff.

Here is my purple fantasy! I love fairies...never painted 1 before so thought I would give it a try. She looks more purple in person. Sorry for the photo quality.

Erica, I like that your fairy is beautiful, cute AND a little bit scary. She certainly seems like she'd punish you if she got mad. I'm a big fan of mischevious fairies.

Okay! Alien Sunset... It doesn't have an alien in it, but I am trying my first belly painting (on my own 32 week old belly), and didn't want to try something too crazy!
It is obviously not from Earth though
