Balloons!!!

Thanks to Lady Jade I have a wonderful bunch of balloons. For valentines day, I decided to try my hand at marketing.
I took a wine gift back, but some candy in the bottom, tissue paper and 3 ballon blooms, well two flowers and a heart. Going fast- I could probably make one in about 10 minutes.
Then I wrote a list of all the business I wanted to thank- wrote a little card and stapled it to them.

Taking them around- people were so happy. One guy even bought a second one for his wife (yay$15)
They cost me about $2- a great price for that big of a "hey remember me?!!!"
I am thinking about starting a youtube channel. Would anyone be interested in a video of how to make something like this?

I would love marketing ideas. That's a niche that no one has really jumped on. I love this and your YMCA idea. You really good at that...but then you'd be giving away secrets.

Oh Denise, if we counted all the secrets you have given away . . . We would need a new forum!

Love these... I think I may work on a package for a business that has been very good to me. Of course I can only do a few things now but it gives me a reason to practice and get the balloons out of my house.

Hubby wants me to get into balloons. I get asked that all the time, actually.

I tell people I am allergic...

This completely unflattering but accurate picture was me reacting to making balloons. Fairyfox was giving us a class and it got much better (I started pulling out to twist so it didn't make so much noice) but yeah...I'm allergic too, Diane.

I learned mine was a fear thing that they would pop more then the noise---so I faced my fear and twisted a ton of them until they popped and I am still here to type about it, so I am not so afraid anymore!

what a great Idea. taking a small token to your clients...i have been doing something a bit similar. I have been taking them to my hair dressor, my insurance agent, my banker, and the Hair school here in town,, they give me free maniquin heads... I have been doing this for a few months now just so people can see my balloons..and its working..I have been getting orders for balloon bouquets, baskets and center pieces..Just go another order today for a ladies Grand daughter..I attach my card to each basket that I take out.. I have also taken balloon animals to a local day care too..they loved them...good luck on your balloon ventrue Fairy Fox...I love doing them...
